PC only turns on after turning the power supply off and on again.

I got my PC running yesterday and everything works fine and I've been playing games and downloading things without an issue.

But, when my PC is turned off at the switch (I leave it on at the PSU), and I go to turn it on at the power button, the fan runs and the LED comes on, but the computer doesn't actually come on.

The way I get around it is by turning off the PSU and turning it on again. Then, when I press the power button it powers on.

Any solutions?

Do two things:

1) Post your build. Probably the most important thing. Sure, the symptoms are important, but so are the specific components.

2) Answer my questions.

After you have done your "trick" does the PC actually POST? If so, does the PC also boot up your OS? Or no matter what you try, the LED comes on, some fans spin, but only for a very short time?

The reason why I ask is very well-informed. Those symptoms you mention can come from a ton of different problems, however the answer to my question will narrow it down a bit.

1) http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/Dempsonator/saved/#view...

2) The PC runs perfectly after I've turned it off and on at the back switch. Everything works fine after that until I shut down the PC and try to power on again.
