Hey guys,

I am looking to build a pc myself. the components I would like to use are :
- NZXT h440 black/red (can be swapped out for r5/enthoo pro)
- intel i5 4690k
- msi z97 gaming 5 (can be swapped out with maximus hero II, due to colour scheme I will not pick z97-a unless I will take an R5 with a closed side panel.)
- hyperx fury red 1866mhz (2x4gb) (can be swapped out for 8gb of ballistix sport if cpu cooler compatability issues.
- crucial bx 100 250gb
- wd blue 1tb
- evga supernova 750 G2
- cpu cooler ?
- case fans ?

I would like to know what cpu cooler would fit with this build and how I am going to be able to combine high performance and low noise (h100i with dual nf-f12?, phanteks ph-tc14pe red) and how I should orient my fans and radiator or air cooling. if I only do a mild overclock will a hyper 212 evo do?

I was thinking about swapping the front fans for 3x nf f12, and the rear fan for a Corsair AF140. or is there a way to keep the stock h440 fans reasonably quiet. I am not looking for a silent build, just a build that does not sound like an airplane.

if there is anyone who has some in depth knowledge how to make a perfect build with my components and reccommending additional components I would be extremely pleased.

thanks in advance!

I'm personally using the H440 and without swapping out any of the stock fans my system runs extreme quiet even at load. All you have to do is go into the BIOS and set the fan speed to whatever you feel is good. Personally I have mine at about 600rpm. I believe the 212 evo will work for mild OC. While if going serious, an AIO will do you better. I'm using the H100i and i have everything on my radiator pulling air out of my case. If you are adding more fans to the H100i, I'd suggest have all of them pull air out of your system. Leave the 3 fans as intake and the rear fan as an exhuast.

If you are going air cooling instead, I honestly have no idea. I have never own an Air cooler. Even doing mild overclocking I use AIO. The lower...

If you want a relatively quiet build, the trick is to have a lot of fans set at low rpm. Noise comes from fans spinning at crazy speed.

As for SSD, I trust Samsung EVO more than any one out in the market. So I'm bias to Samsung and for good reason since they produce quality product.
