Intel Core i7-2600K or new 4th gen core i3? really important (The use for it is for gaming and editing and also heavy internet browsing!)

it would actually be a downgrade. stick to the 2600k
theres very little performance gains per core on the newer i3 compared to an older i5 or i7 single core.
so yeah stick with the 2600k...

nether. the i5 4590 non k if you have a local micro center is 160.00 and asrock mb are about 70.00. also micro center has 40.00 instant combo deals on there mb. the 4690k is 199.00. there also in aug the newer skylake cpu that are dropping. the older haswell 1150mb and cpu may drop in price when the newer cpu drop.

i can only fot lga 1155 socket so i have to stick with older cpus for now so i7 2cnd gen will do me fine
