Hi there! :D

My system has gotten to a point where I'm rather bored with it, I need something to change. I'm currently pondering as to what I should upgrade next, and if I even need to? Also, I'm curious to know if my system is balanced, and if it isn't, what can I do to make it balanced?

Here are my system specs.

SPECS:
Motherboard: Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 Revision 4
CPU: FX-8320 @ 4.4 GHZ (1.42500v) Hyper 212 EVO
GPU: Sapphire TRI-X R9 290 @ stock
RAM: 2 x 4gb G.Skill Ripjaw 1600mhz.
HDD: 1 x 1tb Western Digital Blue 7200rpm
PSU: Rosewill Photon 750w 80+ Gold Rating

*EDIT*

Forgot to mention, this is a multi purpose machine. Mainly for gaming, but I use it for rendering, and multi tasking as well.

Solution
Only thing i would buy is SSD. everythin else for me is not worth upgrading because you wont gain much in performance for the amount of money spent
+1 for upgrading the disk. Consider also a nice keyboard, mouse, monitor, headphones, etc.

For balance you need to specify a workload. For example "gaming" or "video editing". The balance point tends to be different. For example, for "web browsing" the biggest upgrade is likely changing your ISP to faster service.

Assuming gaming, one way you find out the right balance is to google to see if the games you are playing are CPU intensive or video intensive.

Another way to test balance is to selectively underclock your CPU and video. First underclock your video card (make it slower) for example with AMD overdrive and see if your frame rates go down. If your frame rates stay the same then you know you are CPU limited, and need more CPU. Now set the video frequencies back up and use windows power management cut your CPU speed. If slower CPU does not hurt frame rates then you know you do not have enough video to balance your CPU, get more video. If lower CPU and lower video both hurt your frame rates then you are balanced for that game.

What will an SSD, do for my gaming experience?
