Hey Guys,

First post, annoying problem... "Game has stopped responding" either in the first 15-30 minutes or not at all. I'm pretty sure my RAM upgrade from a single Kingston 8gb 1333 MHz stick to 2 8GB PNY 1600 sticks is causing the problem. All drivers and games are up to date and fans are all working properly. I have a 780T corsair case with 2 140mm intake fans in the front and 2 140 mmexhaust fans, 1 above and 1 at the back. Even at Load (Witcher 3 high/ultra 1440p after an hour) I'm at 70 degrees for my CPU and 56-60 for both my GPUs. Any thoughts??

2 GTX 770s 2GB SLI
16GB PNY 1600Mhz RAM
ASUS Z97-AR Mobo
750w Corsair Power Supply
2 256 GB SSD

I bought them 2 days ago. I think I'm gonna have to return both in order to get the bad one replaced (came in a two pack). Gonna do that and then I'll let you know.

I took it back and Microcenter was out of the 1600, so they let me price match Amazon and I upgraded to 1866 for .58$ that's right... 58 cents, and now the new RAM is functioning perfectly. I know there wasn't a lot to help with as I'd already kinda come to that solution, but I certainly appreciate the help. Thanks Guys, Thanks Tradesman

I'm just glad it was something so simple and easy to diagnose and fix. Good luck.

Me too lol, but I always want to throw it out there just in case somebody had a similar issue (game crashing quickly that's not due to overheating) and it wasn't the obvious, you know?
