hey guys, i recently took apart my cpu fan to apply more thermal paste to my cpu because i was having problems with overheating with some games. i first used the business card to spread it but after putting it back together and turning it on it would overheat when i would start a game. i took it apart again and did the simple pea trick and placed it in the middle and just sat my cpu fan on top of it. put it back together and it would still turn off. i then used speccy to monitor the temp on my CPU and i would start a game and it would jump to 60 and get higher and higher before eventually turning off. im not sure how im supposed to fix it or whats wrong with it. the temp is fine when im doing nothing (currently sitting at low 20 whilst writing this.) it looks like my cpu fan is sitting on the cpu properly and its sitting fine. i have no idea what wrong. if anyone has an idea that would be great. cheers NOTE - just opened steam and it jumped to high 40c but dropped back down to the 20c. if that helps with anything
