just got the gigabyte z77x UD4H. installed everything and it works great. i have 2x4GB sticks of corsair vengence 1600 ram. i can see via cpuid and in the bios that its set to 1333. i go into the bios to try and change it and its blacked out. also nothing happens when i press enter on the "system memory multiplier" any ideas? thanks!

You could attempt to enable XMP, this should load a profile for the overclocked memory from the factory, should get you your 1600Mhz. If that doesn't work it's not really worth the struggle, the tiny bump in clock speed for RAM makes little to no difference unless you're running an APU but... this isn't an APU.
