i would only go for that if you are intended to do some overclocking and have a really fast LAN connector
i would rather the standard won

I most certainly intended to overclock and I do have a fast LAN connector. I was trying to see the comparison between them they seem extremely similiar. At the price point is the value worth it? Or is there another brand or something else I should consider.

So if you going to be doing overclocking i would not choose the lower end Asus motherboards if it was the ROG versions them i would go straight to them but not this time i would go for a Gigabyte mobo or Msi. Asus is a extreamly reliable company tho so your choice they're still a solid choice tho

Msi: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130770
Gigabyte :http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128705

the MSI board does not seem bad.

yes I video edit all the time that's why I have 16gig it makes a huge difference. Cuts my render time down by 3mins or so on my 8350. Also to be noted I'm not buying new ram I already have the 16gigs.
