Raid interfering with jbod Esata disks or driver glitch ???

Recently i raided,Raid 0, two ssd drives into an array & updated my bios (2.60) on a MSI z97-g45 motherboard.

Now my jbod esata enclosure only mounts one out of two disks.

there is no port multiplication, one cable to desktop per drive. IE. two cables from enclosure to desktop.

i have tried switching cables, switching disk positions in the enclosure, restarting with the enclosure on (boot gets stuck at A2), and booting the enclosure on another machine (worked fine, both drives mounted)

i did find some weird behavior from the non mounting drive. It doesn't mount if placed in a new enclosure by itself. switching cables makes no difference. if i take the drive to another computer it mounts fine by itself or in original enclosure with other drive

all tests were done on Win 7 x64 computers

so i have two questions

1) what is going on with the non mounting drive ?

2) is the raid or the bios update causing this somehow ?

thanks a bunch any help is appreciated , this problem is driving me crazy
