Hello there!!So I decided to OC my amd fx 6300 from 3.5 Ghz to 4.1Ghz.I would push more but don't have a nice cooling system and don't want to exceed 60c.Anyway everything went nice,I run prime 95 max temp was 58C nothing failed.Only thing that I noticed though is that after restarting the PC seems like it loses all of its power like you shut down and then after 2 secs restarts.Same thing happens if I just disable auto boost to run it at 3.5Ghz stock. Is it thus coz of auto boost disable? Is it under voltage? At 4.1 Ghz cpu-is was showing mac 1.28v with auto boost it was showing max 1.4v.Is it a problem that delay of 2 secs to start again?
Amd fx 6300
Sapphire r9 270x
Gigabyte 970a-ud3p
2x4 gb corsair vengeance 1600mhz
Corsair 600w
Zalman performa

Ps:eek:nly changed multiplier,disabled auto boost,disabled core c6 state,disabled c1e

Is it something to worry about and shouldn't double post only occur when you are cold booting?I only notice this phenomical shut down and delay restart when warm booting

Ps : I don't think it is double post because system boots normal. It doesn't boot then close and reboot again normally.Just reboots as a shutdown unless this is double post :p

I run a FX 6300 on the UD3P too, flashing the bios to F2g fixed the double boot (on revision 1 board).

For settings also, disable turbo, cool n quiet, the c states and you may need to disable APM and enable HPC if you see the clock speeds lowering under Prime95 load (don't confuse this with thermal throttling though, that is different and keep an eye on the temps), also may need some slight LLC.

Don't worry about the voltage being different when turbo is enabled too, it adds more than is needed.
