Hi,
so one day I turn my pc on and there is no signal to monitors. I thought gpu died, but everything seemed to work fine and pc did bootup, though I did not see anything. I tried to take out and reinsert gpu, but that did not help. Finally, I put it on the secondary slot which then worked fine.
My question is: Is it common that gpu slot just stops working? I did not do anything apart from shutting down pc for the night and turning back on in the morning. It's first time I hear this happen. Is it possible to try something to make it work?
Second, will my gpu will be able to perform to max on secondary slot? Should I just ignore it and use it as usual? Unfortunately I am 2 months after my warranty has ended, so replacement is a no go.

GPU: Radeon 7970
Thank you
