Greetings ,
Ive been hovering around all of the forums today for my problem.
But not exactly finding any solutions.
I bought my 3rd monitor today. Using them with ;
-1 with DVI to HDMI 21inch TV monitor
-1 with DVI to DVI (old one with no HDMI) 18 inch Old monitor
-1 with Displayport normal(not mini) to HDMI '' CABLE '' 21inch TV monitor

The question is I only found Displayport to HDMI cable in the local stores. But all the forums says you need ''Active Displayport to DVI adapter''

I couldnt find any info about what is the differance between cable and adapter.
So eventually my cable works fine while using 2 displays but when I try to extend to 3rd one control center asks for a replace.

Bottom line is I dont need eyefinity I guess, This workspace need for my studies on photoshop Not games. need separate extended displays. I have windows 7 with latest ccc drivers.

The working cable means is it ok or still I need an adapter ?
Cable is Some Turkish product

info translates ;

Compatible 1.1 displayport supports 1.62 Gbps and 2.7 Gbps transfer speed
Compatible 1.3b HDMI and maximum 2.25 Gbps transfer speed
Compatible 1.1 DVI , 1.65 gbps maximum transfer speed

I dont know if its good or not but spent 30$ for it.

Can I do anything to fix it with my stuff or Should I buy new adapter from amazon with ATI certificied or something ?

Thanks
