I built my system a little bit ago and i now have an A8-6600K @4.1 GHz and i was wondering if it would be beneficial to me in gaming performance to swap the APU with an Athlon of some type. I dont need the radeon integrated graphics anymore because a bit after i built the computer i bought myself a GTX 960 from EVGA. Would it benefit me in gaming performance to swap the CPU's? I mostly play games the 960 can handle pretty well like Smite, CS:GO and GTA V and some higher end games like Shadow of Mordor and Witcher 3.
