This has been an issue for over a month now, ever since I tried to install a GTX 970. The PC at first worked when removing the GTX 970 (didn't work with it on), but after gradually flipping the power switch while messing around with the PC the light inside the power button didn't turn on when pressed, yet the PC powered up. The monitor didn't work either. Eventually nothing worked and the PC was unresponsive when the power button was pressed, with the exception of a blinking blue light on the JBAT1 in the motherboard.

I was told from another thread that it was a PSU problem, so I personally replaced it. However, nothing changed. I'm no longer as sad as I was in the last thread I made, and now I'm determined to fix this problem once and for all :)

Specs:
-MSI Gaming 5 Motherboard
-Intel i5 4690k Processor
-EVGA GTX 970 FTW+ Graphics Card
-Corsair CX750M Power Supply (I know it sucks, but it has lasted me for a year so it's not THAT bad. Will replace with a better EVGA one if absolutely necesscary)
-WD 1TB Black Hard Drive
-Optical Drive: http://www.amazon.com/Asus-Serial-ATA-Internal-Optical-DRW-24B1ST/dp/B0033Z2BAQ/ref=pd_sim_147_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=0BR5A14WQ5908GK34VKK
-RAM: http://www.amazon.com/Kingston-HyperX-FURY-2x4GB-1600MHz/dp/B00J8E93G6/ref=sr_1_3?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1433709969&sr=1-3&keywords=ram
(Will post monitor if necessary, but I forgot its name).

Sorry for the late reply! Yes, I RMA'd that card. I've been deciding whether or not that if I put the card in the pc might work, seeing that it short circuited my psu (the psu's 12 positive wasn't working after that) while I was installing it the first time. But I'm scared that if I try to install the gpu in it might just cause the psu to short circuit again. Or worse, the GPU might break too :(
