My system will go black screen the music still pays and then it restarts. It happen on demanding games and during stress testing using Valley benchmark. I bought a gtx 980 on 4/17/2015. I originally only thought it was an issue I was having with the Witcher 3 because I hadn't been playing anything else demanding, but today I tried some other demanding games and they also led to crashing. So I tried this test and also got a crash.

I heard problems like this could either be graphics card, graphics driver, or PSU. Would like some help to figure this out.

CPU Intel 4790

Mobo asus z97 sabertooth 2

GPU GTX 980 EVEGA

PSU Thermaltake SMART M Series 850watts

2x2gb pny ddr3 ram
and another seperate set of 2x2gb ddr3 ram of another make I know people say this is a problem but they've been in there for awhile no issues

Solution
Make sure your BIOS is up to date. Make sure your drivers - all drivers - are up to date. Check your temperatures. If they are running hot, remove the side cover to try to cool things down and see if that helps. If it does you need better cooling on GPU, CPU, fans, and/or possibly a better case.

I think the issue may be solved I first tried the Nvidia clean install and reinstalled the driver seems like that kept it from crashing as soon, though it did crash so next I tried DDU and reinstalled and that seems to be working ran Valley for over an hour with no crash and again later for another half hour. I think it might have even increased the performance.
