i5 3570k shooting up to 95C+ at 4.4ghz

I'm having a bit of trouble overclocking my i5-3570k beyond 4.3ghz.
My heatsink is a Hyper 212 Evo and I used Arctic MX4 thermal compound.

My temps at idle are around 20-30 degrees Celsius. With Prime 95 running small FFT, these temps jump to-

HWMonitor - 65 76 76 69 @ 1.276V
RealTemp - 65 76 76 69 (the same! although there is some variation).

However, when I apply a 4.4ghz overclock, within seconds all four cores are above 80 degrees with cores 2 and 3 hitting 95 degrees+. I stop the small FFT test immediately and the temps settle.

I just changed my CPU cooler from a Arctic v7 to a Hyper 212 evo. My temps are around 4-6 degrees cooler on the Hyper 212 evo at load. However, I was experiencing the same sudden jump in temperatures with the Arctic v7 (except around 4-6 degrees higher, reflecting the better cooler).

Can you guys shed any light on this? Is 4.3ghz the natural limit of my chip?

1) is your vcore set to auto? because if it is, when you up the clock speed the motherboard will bump your vcore right along with it, and typically motherboards overvolt cpus, causing them to overheat. you'll need to take vcore off of "auto"

2) if your vcore is not set to auto you're at the end of your overclock with that cpu cooler.

I can reply to this, but not the rest, because I'm really not that knowledgeable about this stuff. A quick google search led me to articles discussing the i5-3570k being overclocked to 4.5GHz, so no. 4.3 is not the limit.

In fact, here:

http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1737864/safe-overclock-3570k.html
It's a Tom's Hardware thread, with the 4.5GHz article I just mentioned.

In regards to the other things... I can't help, as I have no clue. =/

Caveat to this - Not all chips are the same, when you buy one you play the silicon lottery.
