I have an xbox original that the hard drive will only boot 1 in 10 or so attempts so I know soon that failure is likely, so I was wondering what the procedure would be to replace it with a drive from a computer that had very little use on it. I just use the xbox to play music and get online therefore do not care about anything that is on the failing drive. So if someone knows of a simple solution to get it going I would be Very Appreciative.
Thanks For Any Help
Dennis

you need a similar drive (same dimensions and size 2.5") and you can clone it in a pc with acronis for example or aomei backupper, then plug the new one in and should work.
