Recently moved from Windows 7 to Windows 8, Installed Win 8 on a new SSD and left WIn 7 on a WD Blue HHD. Worked flawlessly for about 2 weeks. Then I went to work inside of my computer, wire-manage, remove some older HDD's, nothing important. And when I went to start it back up, it would only boot from Win 7, unplugged all of the other drives besides the Win 8 SSD, and it gave me this [Reboot and Select proper Boot device], so I booted up my old Win 7 and the drive recognizes and everything, still has all the Win 8 system files, but I cannot boot from it. Any help? Thanks!

Have you tried changing boot order from BIOS/UEFI?
If that doesn't help, try changing boot order from System Configuration (WIN+R -> msconfig -> enter):
From "Boot" tab choose Windows 8 and click "Set as default". Reboot
