Right now I have a 64-bit verison of Windows 7, with an AMD processor. Im going to be replacing my processor and motherboard, to an i5 and an Asus motherboard. I was wondering if after I switch out the hardware if I will have to install a new version of Windows?
Also, sort of a stupid question - what is the process for preparing a HDD for a new install of windows? Ill need to move everything I want to my other drive I guess, but Im not quite sure how to "wipe" a drive that I boot from.
