When I start up my ASUS laptop, there is a high chance of it blue screening with the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error. Looking at the dmp files in BlueScreenView, it says that the cause is the ntoskrnl.exe driver. When I start up on Safe Mode, it never crashes. I also noticed that I can tell whether or not it will crash by looking at whether Norton Antivirus loads up on the tray. Otherwise, it will always crash.

Most recent dump file is located here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/h68ahxa7dd3v9hu/060815-24211-01.dmp

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :dawa:

looks like a old network driver messed up your norton scanner and it caused a bugcheck.

I would suspect this driver:
Atheros NIC driver
SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\L1C62x64.sys Mon Sep 19 00:42:11 2011
and go here: https://www.atheros.cz/
the file you would want is on the middle of the page, it is called L1C
or look here:
https://www.atheros.cz/atheros-network-drivers.html

you may also find a driver update for that file on your motherboard vendors website.

you also have some very old binaries on your system from 2006. These are going to be suspect because of their age.

PowerISO Virtual Drive driver
\SystemRoot\System32\Drivers\SCDEmu.SYS Mon Apr 09 20:37:52 2007

old overclocking driver (should be ok)
\SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\TurboB.sys Mon Nov 29 15:02:31 2010

old remote access software (logmein) you might want to remove it if you don't use it or did not install it.
