Wd Black hard drive 1tb

Solution
Hey there, amitsharma227!

The WD Black is actually our performance drive and it is designed to deliver on the demanding usage in gaming and/or video/photo editing rigs. However, since those 7200 RPM are not enough for you, I can also suggest you to take a look at the WD VelociRaptor. This HDD is designed for high-performance computing with 10 000 RPM and 64 MB cache and it might be able to deliver on what you are looking for. It can hold the data-intensive workloads of demanding software applications as well as high-end gaming. Just like the WD Black, it offers a limited 5-year warranty as well.
You can check more details about the WD VelociRaptor here: http://www.wdc.com/en/products/products.aspx?id=20

Hope you find what you are...

The next best thing for speed would be to raid 0 2 of them or get a 10k (raptor) or 15k spindle speed drive, if not raid then an ssd would be next.
Best bang for the buck would probably be an ssd now as the prices have come down some.
