when will support end for windows 10? is it in 10yrs time?

Usually Microsoft does 5+5 years. 5 years of complete support (new features + security fixes) than 5 years of extended support (security fixes only).

I thought Windows 10 was the last version of Windows and all future instances were to be incremental improvements like service packs so there will be no Windows 11/12/ect?

this is what they are trying to push to us, I hate the idea but it is more convenient and will cost the user less money in the long run

From the MS website: Windows 10 has been released in July 2015. Mainstream support ends on 10/13/2020. Extended support ends on 10/14/2025.
