I'm in the process of building a new pc, i got a intel core i5 processor and motherboard in matx form factor, i only have one place in this case to install the h75 radiator and it is the back mounted fan area. the h75 comes with dual fans, is it ok to remove one of them because i cannot get the cooler on my pc with both installed, will it still work ok?

You could. It just won't cool quite as well. No reason to spend the money on a water cooling system if you're not going to get the full effect of the one you buy imo. There are a few others from corsair like the H55 or H60. Both of those only come with 1 fan and might be cheaper for you.

Seems to be working fine, i've installed 2 bottom 120mm fans and 1 top 120mm fan so that's compensating, when i first booted up idle temps at 22-25c which i'm pretty happy with! Thanks for your reply

Those temps are pretty good, considering that you're only running the cooler with 1 fan. nice job! :)

Good to hear and those are some nice temps. If you ever find yourself needing more, corsair has some ultra thin fans that may work well for your case too.

cheers!
