It might, depending on how high the settings are turned. If it's at low settings, then yes, but at higher settings, the GPU starts to be the bottleneck.

Depends on the game, but for most of the new popular titles your CPU will definitely bottleneck that GPU. If you have the money an i5 is the way to go for gaming.
