I am planning to buy a pc for playing Euro Truck Simulator 2, Battlefield 4, Project Cars and GTA V at 1080p in high setting but i'm not sure that my build is good enough for those games. here is my spec

CPU: i5 - 4460
Motherboard: msi h97 guard pro
Ram: 16 gb (8x2) of Kingston hyper x savage red ddr3 1600
HDD: WD blue 1.0 TB

Power supply: Raidmax rx-1000ae

with that budget, you got so many options! :)

now here is a sample build way better than what you originally planned, change any brand you wish to in case some may not be available in your area if you are gonna be buying on local shops, just make sure they have equivalent specs.

my baseline for this is GTA V, which in all honesty still cannot be maxed out due to high graphical demand power it needs especially when the advanced graphics are turned on, BUT you will be able to apply ULTRA textures and such.

CPU is overclockable
mobo is a z97 decent quality
cpu cooler is the...

I would try and move this to the Systems forum but since we're here... this will be fine for high/ultra settings for all of those games. To answer your question of which GPU, you should go with the GTX 970, it's substantially better than the 960 if it still fits in your budget.

Thank you for your answers guys :D

I wonder if i should replace (8x2) 16 gb of ram with (4x2) 8 gb of ram to save some money then spend the saving budget on graphic card. The price difference between msi gtx 960 100me edition and gtx 970 100me edition in my country is around 180 usd (pretty huge gap). For the power supply, i will replace that raidmax with Seasonic G-Series 750watt is that ok?

the build is ok but we can do a LOT better, im not saying it wont work but i think i can help you out build a more balanced rig which can overall perform better.

kindly provide your budget (in US $) and ill provide a setup for you, also indicate if you need a monitor, OS or peripherals such as mouse, keyboard and speakers

cpu cooler is the cheapest one you can get for mild OC
RAM a 2x4GB kit which in my opinion is all you need if your PC will be mainly for gaming, if you do some editing then you can upgrade that to 16GB
added SSD for faster boot times and OS/program responsiveness
GTX 980 has around 15% better performance compared to 970
as for the case, i just love the simplicity of it
Seasonic 620w for PSU is adequate, if you're planning to add another graphics card in the future you can change that to 750w and above

please bear in mind that this build is just to maximize the budget that you currently are willing to spend.

however if i'd be the one spending, i'd just probably get a GTX 970 and allocate the extra money to the monitor/OS
