im going to buy a cpu in 2hours from now wich one to take? i5 4590 or i7 4790?

i wont oc any part in my system!

i wanted to take i5 4590
and not i7 4790
sins its only for gaming!!!

but i readed the dx12 news
and its look like its gonna be much better to use i7 here for the benfit of the extra cores

i realy want to save thos 120$
but i dont want to change the cpu in the next 4years from now

which one will be more worth to take???

im using - h97 msi gaming 3
gtx g1 970
crossair 8x2g ram

Then get the i5, it's pretty nice having an i7 though. For bragging rights ;P

For gaming, the i5 4590 is enough right now. The i7 still have the same cores as the i5 but has hyperthreading. If you are willing to spend extra for an i7 4790 then go ahead. If you are happy with an i5 4690, then get that instead as long you don't regret it. Whether it is worth it is down to you.

yes i know but dx12 gonna be game changer here
in the benchamrk looks like i7 take down the i5 bigtime with dx12
but i dont know how its gonna effect gaming
thats why i dont know wich one to take...
for gaming only

I rather would not suggest which one to take since you should decide whether it is worth it to save your 120$ or not. You should make your own decision based on what you have read/researched and you shouldn't regret it. Either way, both cpu are decent for gaming.
