Hello,

I'm building my first PC, could You please evaluate my build?
- I will use this PC to write software, play games(especially Witcher 3), listen to music and watch movies.
- I going to OC the cpu

CPU: Intel i5-4690k
Cooler: Be Quiet! Dark Rock 3
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 TI
MB: MSI z97 gaming 3
RAM: G.Skill DDR3 8GB (4GBx2) F3-2133C9D-8GAB
SSD: Plextor 128GB, SATA III M6S
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue, 3.5'', 1TB
WiFi: TP-LINK TL-WN881ND
Case: SilentiumPC Gladius X60 Pure Black
PSU: Corsair CS Series 650W Modular 80+ GOLD

Monitor: Dell U2414H

For a CPU and cooler that are designed for overclocking, I would get a board with 12 phase VRM, such as AsRock Z97 Extreme 4 or Asus Z97 Pro. If you prefer MSI then Z97 gaming 5 would be a step up in quality.

- You chose a low budget motherboard for an otherwise high-end system. Not a problem, just curious.
- Recommend Samsung 850 EVO over the Plextor SSD.
- Stongly recommend EVGA GS 650 power supply over the lower quality Corsair.

You've put together a good list of parts that, with a few changes, could be a very good gaming computer.

Hmm. I haven't heard much about these GS EVGA psu's but they actually look pretty good i thought they were like the NEX models made by FSP which weren't so great . From what i read the GS is based on the seasonic g series and if so thats damn good for the price i would go with that.
