I did Windows Update on my computer which is a Windows 7 Pro, it finished updating and Aero didn't work anymore and said my GPU couldn't run Aero, so I thought updating my GPU drivers would fix it, I rebooted and I was greeted by a BSOD saying " c0000135 The program can't start because %hs is missing from your computer " which keeps me from getting into Windows. I'm currently dual-booted into Ubuntu on the same computer, what can I do to fix Windows?

Before any update is applied.
A system restore point is created.
Just simply load windows 7 in safe mode by tapping the F8 key repeatedly when you turn your computer on.
Once loaded in windows in safe mode go to backup and restore. and you should see a restore point before the new update was applied to windows 7.

Thanks for responding, I tried that with multiple restore points and each time it failed, any other options right now?
