Xeon e3-1230v3 + CM Hyper 212 Evo between 1-7°C temp differences?

So I have a Xeon e3-1230v3 CPU and a CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo mounted on top of it. Though I need to mention, I recently bought 2x "Be Quiet Silent Wings 2" and mounted them on top of it because the original Coolermaster fan broke. I build the PC during 11/2013.

Ambient temperature is like 21-24degrees and I'm idling at 25° on core3 while my core0 is at 29 or 30°....Core1 and core2 do keep their temperatures somewhere between core0 and 3. Is this normal?
Do I have to worry about this or is this a critical thing and there could be something wrong with the thermal paste?


Just FYI: I took 20minutes of Prime95 stress testing according to the turorial and rules provided here in some thread. Results: Core0 never went above 65° while core3 never went any higher than 63°.

Difference on temp between cores is perfectly normal. It depends on which cores are active at what time and how active. Your idle temps are fine. The reason BIOS temp reads warmer than Windows temps, is because Speedstep is active once you boot to the OS. Speedstep will lower CPU freq. on the cores not active to conserve power and reduce heat. In BIOS the CPU is at full freq. all the time.

Somehow can't edit the post on mobile, so sorry for the double post.
I measured the temps using CoreTemp but I noticed something odd. When I boot the pc and enter BIOS to check the CPU temp it says something like 38degree but shortly afterwards CoreTemp shows 25-28degrees at 0-2% load in Windows...
