Hello Tom's Hardware!
Temps Min 16 Max (stress test) 43
People help me I have AMD Overdrive I just don't want my CPU to blow up.
I already have a custom CPU cooler

Specs
Gigabyte 970A-DS3P
AMD FX 6300
ASUS GeForce GTX 750ti
HyperX 4GB 1600MHz DDR3 x 2
Cooler Master Hyper T4 CPU Cooler

Thank you!

Solution
No, the 212 evo is decently better than the T4.

The PSU is solid.

I would just start by bumping the core clock up 100mhz at a time and monitor the CPU/VRM/Northbridge temps.
You won't get too far overclocking on a Hyper t4. I have one and it is not the best cooler, but you should be able to get a few hundred megahertz/ bump you into i3 range for most games.

What PSU do you have?

Also, 16c sounds too low. What is the temp of the room you are in?

Mobo is Gigabyte 970a-ud3p, my temps usually stay below 60 when gaming, sometimes have peaks for few sec to like 62 or so (when playing gta 5). Most of the time its averaging in 50s. In p95 it maxes at around 55-56 depending on my ambient temperature as well.

The ud3p is an incredible over clocking board - its voltage regulation is second to none - I've personally hit overclock s on it on voltages that are far far lower than comparative boards like the msi 970 or m5a r2/evo.

The ds3p is somewhat sketchier when it comes to the vrms but it honestly doesn't have a problem overclocking a 6 core- which incidentally doesn't actually run that hot anyway.

Mrfinleyjones - saying that ,those temps are entirely unrealistic - what are you using for temp monitoring???

Anything apart from gigabyte easytune or amd overdrive is not to be trusted at all !!
