Internet connection seems to drop around the same time every day..

Just moved into a new apartment and when I'm playing Counter-Strike: GO on my comp and am in mumble chat server with friends my internet (wired) has disconnected every day since I moved in Saturday. The first 2 nights it just did it once then I was able to keep playing with no issues. Tonight it was trying to disconnect me from the game but never did, it never lasts long when it does do it. I don't even know where to begin..

I have Time Warner Cable (Extreme - 30 Mbps DL, 5 Mbps UL) which is fine for what I do, and a new router/modem combo Motorola Surfboard SBG6580.

I just went to the modem's Event log and found this:

I created a 63-digit WPA/WPA SK2 (something like this) key and named my network.... I'm pretty sure it's secure. Does anything in there indicate a reason to lose connection? This is wired.

What channel should I use for a wired connection?

Control Channel
Current : 6 ***Interference Level: Acceptable It is set to Auto so it is not just on any one channel.. is that a problem?

It also did it at my old rental house I had with my brother but not nearly as often as it's already done it in 3 days I've lived here. I've had this computer since April 2014 and it was a prebuilt but I added a GTX 750ti, the ethernet port is Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller so I googled update for that and got to this site:

I used the Global link for Win7 and Server 2008 R2 Auto Installation Program applied the newest driver per this.... I guess this is a good start? I never messed with the drivers for the ethernet network card.
