New Asus rt-ac68w causes slow downloads on my pc when connected via ethernet-wifi speeds work fine

hey there i used to/should be getting 60mb/s but ever since setting up my new router i only get 20-30 mb/s when downloading files. I connected via wifi and get the full 60mb/s. not sure why on earth this would happen..
im on latest firmware and QoS is turned off.
please help i am about to return this if i cant get full speeds on damn LAN!

interference as far as what? when connected via ethernet i didnt think there should be much interference but im not sure

Walls? IN what level is the router? (how many floors is the home, etc) Channel # and are there any wireless devices around it (cordless phones and what not)

oh your talking wireless interference, the router is next to my PC. i dont have any issues whatsoever with the wifi itself in fact its great..im having issues when im hardwired to my PC via Ethernet with the router..

my apologies. i was thrown off with the WIFI. Did you say you downloaded the latest drivers for you ethernet card?

Yep I've done that.. Renewed IP flushdns rebooted everything I've done all I could find on google
