Where To Connect Case Fan,PSU Or Motherboard

Solution
Again, if you name the case, MoBo, PSU more accurate answers could be given.

MoBos typically have numerous fan headers.... you can run numerous fans off a single header. There is no need to run fans off a CPU. I have 15 fans running off 3 headers using inexpensive PCBs.

How many fans do you want to run ?

What model fans are they ?

What case (make and model) are you using ?

What is make and model number of Mobo ?

Run 3 fans off 1 header - $3.99

Run 3 fans off 1 header - $4.25

Run 4 fans off 1 PWM header - $4.99...

Solution
1. http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813132043

1 x CPU Fan connector(s)
1 x Chassis Fan connector(s)

One problem solved, your MoBo has 1 CPU and 1 CHA fan header

2. There are 75 different Bitfenix Spectre fans; next time try and be more specific.

3. The case has 3 fan mounts, 1 is included
http://www.bitfenix.com/global/en/products/chassis/neos#specs

Cooling Front 2 x 120mm (optional)
Cooling Rear 1 x 120mm (included)

Since it only fits 120mm fans, we can reduce the potential fan count to 22

So now we still need to know how many you want to put in and which fan it is ....

The fastest DC 3 pin fan they have is 1200 rpm
BitFenix Spectre Pro

http://www.bitfenix.com/global/en/products/accessories/spectre-pro#specs

Web site says they are 0.11 amps.... 3 of them amps 0.33, well less than the typical 1 amp header rating of the tyoical MoBo. You should have no problem running three 3 pin fans off that one header using the $3.99 PCB recommended above.

The PWM version of the fan at 1800 rpm pulls 0.2 amps, you'd have no issue using 3 or 4 of them off the CPU header (assuming its PWM) .... 1 on CPU cooler and 3 in case or 2 / 2 using the $4.99 PCB recommended above
