Do I have enough power to power the Evga gtx 750ti superclocked or should I get the non superclocked one

I was planning to buy the Evga gtx 750ti from Amazon because it's cheaper in Canada but I found out that there's amsuperclocked version for 10$ more, they both say 300e minimum psu and I have a 300w psu but how could an overclocked version have the same power consumption that the normal one? Should I get the superclocked version wich has a base clock of about 100mhz more and a boost clock of 200mhz more than the normal version?Will I be able to power it? I'm a really bad overclocker so I can't put the normal one upto those frequencys.

You should consider upgrading your power supply.

If you are talking about the ones that don't require a 6 pin PCIe power cord from the PSu you will be ok.

If you are talking about ACX cooled versions which do require the connector (I think), you should avoid and get a model that doesn't need that connection.

So please post exact model or part number so we can clarify.

I can't get a new psu cuz I'm not good at wiring it all.

I mean it is hardly wiring hahaha. It is plugging in a cord...which I have EVERY reason to trust, you are fully capable of LOL.

Either way, take it. It will be fine and there are no wires to attach xD

Ok but... what make and model is your current PSU? If you don't know, you can usually find out by taking off your side panel and reading the side of the PSU itself.

It's from an hp pc. But it goes down to 265w at high temps so I probably shouldn't getthe oc version

You won't run either of the 750Ti's on that PSU, sorry.

Changing your PSU is not as hard as it might look. Don't be intimidated, just be methodical and if you run into trouble come here and someone here will help walk you through it.

I used a psu calculator and it said that with all the other hardware I have I would need 254w of power to power all my components and get a new gtx 750ti so I'm able to get the normal version but I was hopping O could get the oc version for better performance. Is it worth it to upgrade my psu get the superclocked version?
