I am Starting from a Blackbox Motorolla Surfboard SBG6580 Modem TWC thru a TPLink Repeater halfway thru the house 2 walls, to a bolse BO-N1559 Wireless adapter at other end of house approx 50ft and recieves internet speed at 10-5Mbps when only device pulling wavelength. When streaming TV in living room and other laptop in living room and hardwired ethernet attahed to Modem. the wireless adapter drops out and bandwith goes to zero and laptop still tries to connect to same connection using enternal wireless..........I moved adapter to top of list to connect too , but still have problem.Would switching to a Modem and Router combo help this situation or not?.......TIA

Current modem is a combo/cable modem/router 2.4 mhz.....Sorry, I wasn't very clear here. 10-5 mbps to laptop across House? I was talking about getting separate modem an router that has both 2.4 and 5.0 ghz signal with external anntennas, NON-TWC unit, maybe for better stronger wireless reception than current input 10-5 Mbps.that drops out all the time, more than not, other wireless units connected work fine............................
