Arma 2/Arma 3 Low Fps

I have been really bothered by my PC's performance in the Arma games for a long time. I had a 9800GT but then I upgraded to a 750ti SC, still around 15-30 fps. What is the deal?

-Specs-
CPU- AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black@3.4ghz
GPU-750ti SC
Memory- 8GB 1333mhz DDR3 RAM

They're both very CPU bound games and a GPU will make barely any difference to framerate no matter what settings. All you can do really is turn down the rendering distance.

What settings are you running it at? Please post a screenshot or a list of the settings you're using. By looking at your pc specs you won't get that high fps on Arma 2 and 3 because it requires a good gaming pc.

Well you could try decreasing sceneComplexity in "username".Arma3Profile located in \Documents\Arma 3. Open it with notepad. I had it in 1000000 and changed it to 350000, gave me couple more fps. But like anti-duck said, it's CPU bound game. And also sometimes servers can limit your fps.
