Hello,

First time posting! I was given a Dell Optiplex 7010 with the followin Specs below:

Windows 7 w/SP1 x64
Intel® Core™ i7 3770 / 3.40GHz
16GB1 DDR3, 1600MHz2, (4 x 4GB)
1TB Sata Drive
240W PSU

recommended video card upgrades:
1GB AMD RADEON HD 7570 Optional card
1GB AMD RADEON HD 7470 Optional card

I'm trying to set this up to see if it can run Witcher 3 with decent frames. At least 40-60FPS if possible. The recommended video cards, I don't think will work. The process is fast enough, but the bottleneck is the inaability to upgrade the PSU. I've already contacted Dell and they do not offer an upgrade with more wattage to support a high end video card. Here's a link to the system's quick tech guide: http://www.dell.com/downloads/global/products/optix/en/optiplex_7010_technical_guidebook.pdf

I'd like to know if there is a vido card out there that would fit in to this unit and would be able to utilize the existing PSU and give me decent performance while running The Witcher 3 and other similar games. Thank you all in advance!

You may be able to get a GTX 750 ti to work. That is the most powerful of the low power GPUs. The PSU you have is below spec for the 750ti, but if the rest of the system is low power, it may work anyway. You can find low profile versions that don't require an extra power connector. I don't know if it will give you the performance you desire, but it has decent performance and is the best performance for a low power system.

Thank you, this looks like a very promising card without needing external power source. I will definitely consider this one as it has rave reviews on Amazon. I just hope that it will fit inside the small form factor machine. I have about 2.7 inches in height to work with according to the system's specifications. :/

Thank you Calculagator for the recommendations. I will review each one and decide by end of this week. Thanks for your time!
