Solution
Both Intel and AMD make great chips if you had bad experienc that shouldnt put you off Intel. You can get bad chip from Intel or AMD, you just had bad luck getting bad chip from Intel once.

For you budget Intel is the way to go. For gaming Intel CPUs are better, there is some debate FX-6300 vs i3 4160, i3 is better in all games but FX-6300 can be a better choice if you want to stream games online.

Intel is better choice if you plan on doing lots of mods, you need strong cores for Skyrim which Intel have.
8gb of ram is enough for gaming

Is this within your budget ?

Sweet, the RAM thing will save me about $100.

And yes, that build is within my budget, but I generally try to stick with AMD, as I've had bad experiences with intel in the past. Not sure if it maters much, but I've also heard that amd is also a better bang for your buck than intel.

Also, will that build (or the one I posted) be good for current gaming?
Like the Witcher 3, or Star Citizen... Stuff like that (At decent settings).
Also, I plan on modding Skyrim way too much, will either be good for that?

I put together the parts I listed against the ones you did, and there was only like, a $3.10 difference. But like you said, the intel cpu will work better for my purposes (eg. Gaming mostly), and that gpu you suggested actually looks very promising. (Which is code for amazing)

Thank you so much for your help, only thing I might change in the build you suggested is the SSD (I like Sandisk), otherwise I think that'll work.
