My nephew turns 16 soon and me, his Mom, and maybe my parents are going to pitch in to get him a build. We are on a tight budget so I wanted to put something together that he can upgrade later (Ram, GPU, CPU Cooling, SSD, etc)... but still look cool, work good, and enjoy building w/ him since he's never done it before. Pumped :)

And he told me (without knowing he might be getting a computer) that he wanted to build an AMD once he saved his money - so that's why I went with the AMD.

If there is anything I can do to cut cost here please let me know... but obviously I went with the red/black trend since looks are important for his first build (IMO).

Any comments would be appreciated!

Performance its what matters not the looks. if you have some money left you can spend it on looks, but in my opinion you should never choose looks over performance. i3 4160 will do better in every game than FX-6300.

And why does looks matter if case doesnt have a window (still lets say that my build is blue/black, mostly black :D)
