Should I upgrade my graphics card? (HD 7870 to a GTX 960 4GB)

Solution
They just came out in the US and the r9 390 is price equal to the 960. AMDs gone traditional again where it has wider memory bus and better float point performance but worse tdp and clock speed than the 960. Pick what ever one you want, they're mostly equal in performance, I personally like nvidia card because of the lower tdp but whatever floats your boat. :)

If you can deal with the results you are getting now, give it a while and see what comes out. Price drops, special deals, promotional offers(X gpu with free games), are definitely bound to happen if you have your eye set on something in particular.

What is that you want from your graphics card? Frame rate, level of detail, temperature, etc. are all things to consider when buying another graphics card.
