GPU too noisy after applying new thermal paste

So my gpu is an hd 7970 vapor-x GHz edition, and few weeks ago it started to get much noisier than usual, so 4 days ago i got sick of it and removed the card to check what was going on, and the heat sinks were dusty as fuck, so after giving that a very good clean, everything was back to normal, but then i saw a post that said you could cool the GPU about 5-10 c reapplying new thermal paste, removing the stock one, so i decided to go one step further and try that, i followed linus tech tips tutorial on how to do that, i did everything he said, but after pluging my card back un, my gpu now sounds like its going to go to the moon, and ocasionally the fans make sort of a clicking noise, i reapplied the thermal paste 2 more times and tried diferent methods to see if i was doing it wrong, but it still makes horrible noises, last time i placed the paste i did the dot in the middle way.

To put it shortly im dying to finde a solution to this, im afraid my card will burn or some shit like that, i left the stock thermal pads btw, but i dont think it could be that, please heeelp!!!

What did you do to clean the fan/heatsink? It sounds like there may be something wrong with the fan bearings, and using something like an air compressor or a can of compressed air could do that.

Wait... you applied new thermal paste but left the old thermal pad?
I'm not familiar with your exact card but a thermal pad is generally used as an easy to install alternative to thermal paste. It's drawback though is it isn't as effective as transferring the heat.
If your using both you would more than likely be reducing the cooling effect rather than improving it.
What you describing is like trying to cool something in the fridge but keeping an old blanket over the top of the object.
Both surfaces of the heatsink and the GPU should be cleaned thoroughly using a product like this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835100010
Then reapply a fresh layer or your desired thermal paste.
You want the minimum amount of paste as can be achieved whilst still ensuring a full coverage.
Air is a poor conductor of heat which is why paste is used to ensure there is no air being used as a conductor between the heatsink and GPU/CPU.

I think he is referring to the thermal pads on the memory modules and VRMs, which he should not need to replace.

Also, what are the temps like before/after the thermal paste application?

Thermal paste shouldn't make your GPU loud. It must've been when you removed the heatsink and fan, you must've dislodged something slightly out of place like the fan angle or wire etc. You should take another keen inspection around the fan to see if anything intrudes it

Oh I thought he was saying the GPU was running hot again after the new thermal paste was applied.
When you blasted the dust out of the heatsink it's possible you blasted it straight into the fans bearing. That could cause a problem.

The temps before i removed the dust were like 85 celsius when gaming, then when i cleaned everything they went down to 70-75 and after applying the new thermal paste they went down to 62-64, 30 when not doing anything, so i really dont get why the fans do so much noise, they really sound stupidly loud, i checked any possible thing that could get inside the fans, i removed the remaining dust, i just dont know why the fuck this is happening.

Actually the temperatures are very low, so it's not because of the heat, i checked if there was some wire or something between the fans but nothing, i just don't understand why this is happening.

I don't think so, after removing the dust everything worked just fine, the problem started when i unscrewed everything and applied the paste.

That's really not any reason to cause a fan to make excessive noise unless the card is running hot making the fans spin at full speed trying to keep the temps down.
That would indicate to me an inproper application of themal paste or just an incorrect reinstall of the heatsink.
What exactly is the noise? Is the fan just running at full speed or is it whining at low speed?
Did you clean both surfaces being the heatsink and the GPU as I explained above?

I just used alcohol to clean it, i also took the card to a technician and he can't find the problem either.
