I was just reading about the clear cmos pin's on my motherboard and I saw a few thing's on other clear cmos guide's and wanted some answer's...the ga-78lmt-s2p motherboard I bought never came with a jumper so the two clear cmos pin's do not have a jumper on them and never have but on some of the other mobos I have seen there is a jumper for clearing and not clearing the cmos pin's....also on a youtube video I saw about a gigabyte motherboard with two pin's the guy in the video put the jumper on the two pin's and powered on the mobo because he said the cmos would not be cleared until powered on and if there was no picture the cmos should be cleared...also I wanted to know if it's ever possible to power on some mobos to get into the bios with the jumper in the clear cmos position like to change a setting in the bios that might not be changed because of mobo not starting or something?
