Is a Haswell Ready PSU necessary for me?

For my current PC build I have an Intel i5 4570. It is a newer 4th gen CPU and my current PSU is a Corsair CX600. Now there has been a lot of talk lately about getting a power supply that can support a Haswell processor in sleep/idle state. When I use my computer it is either on or off. I never leave it idle or switch it to sleep mode. Also I have been using this processor with this power supply for nearly a year now and always have great performance. So my question is should I buy into the marketing scheme and purchase a "Haswell Ready" PSU or just stick with the one I have and spare my wallet the pain. If I should purchase a new PSU that can "support" my CPU can someone give me a legitimate reason as to why I should instead of the "ohhh you won't be able to have your PC run in sleep mode."

Thanks for pointing me towards this thread. I feel like I can sleep at night now. I jsut spent a good deal on my system and was upset that there might be an issue between these two parts. Silly. Either way thanks again :D

Amazing. So it pretty much is a marketing gimmick. Can't blame a company for wanting to make money I suppose.

To some degree, though it's labeled so people know they support the deeper sleep states fully should they wish to use them. It can be interpreted wrong as 'haswell necessary' rather than 'haswell ready'. It is true that most psu's without the labelling probably won't handle the low sleep states. To me personally it's not a big issue since I didn't plan to use any extended sleep state anyway but other people may want to. If people are tricked into choosing one that's 'ready' over one that's not or made to feel they need to upgrade and replace an older 'non ready' psu I'm sure they don't mind picking up the extra sales.
