i was playing blacklight retribution and converting a large video in atube catcher when my computer made loud buzzing sounds, i turned the power off and opened up the pc and checked the fans and made sure there were no wires scratching on the fans. i turned the power on and didn't hear the noise again at all until i started converting the video and i heard the noises again and i confirmed the noise was either coming from my psu or from my graphics card and powered off, checked the psu and i didn't open it up because there's a sticker keeping it shut saying it would void the warranty if i opened it.
also the smallest fan in the pc, which i think is the graphics card grinds slightly against something when i spun it with my finger so either the hard drive intensive converting is making my psu run out of power and make buzzing sounds or my gfx card fan is making the sounds
so far i have had 3 or 4 experiences with this noise all when i was trying to convert this video
my psu is a thermaltake 500w and it's a prebuilt cougar pc and this is the first time i've ever had problems with anything in the computer
