It only works after I leave my PC with no power at all for 2-3 minutes.
It'll run for sometime then randomly my stuff turns off.
It doesnt depend on load or anything it just happens randomly.

BTW I have re enabled anti surge in asus bios, reinstalled windows, etc
seems to be a hardware problem.

It looks like a motherboard issue. I had this problem once on Linux Mint 17.1 or if I load a linux distribution off of a flash drive, I'd always get a No Signal issue & it would never load. Youtube videos were acting weird also. I replaced my motherboard & it is working fine.

dont think its motherboard issue because everything is working fine, it just reboots randomly anytime. And just sometimes during that reboot the appliances I told about in the OP fail to get power and dont load up.

It seems like your power supply has enough wattage according to the original threads you posted but still, sometimes power supplies can act weird & give issues. Try a different power supply if you have one & see if you get the same results. Are you running integrated graphics? Or are you running your video output from your video card?

current psu is vp450p old was generic that came with case.

ATM seems the issue is resolved (not sure but it hasnt self rebooted in 2 days now).
What I did was, when I was able to get into windows without it rebooting too quickly, i ran chkdsk in cmd which gave me few errors.
So i rean the fixer, reseted bios, repaired windows , reinstalled drivers.
and for the time being it seems to have resolved the problem.

I thought of doing this chkdsk because last night I just left my turned on just to observe it, it kept playing its own game, rebooting whenever it wanted to, and turning off my components and even having them on whenever it liked. I noticed that windows was some times giving error when it was able to boot in saying it could not load properly, so that gave me doubt in my windows installation, so i put in my windows 7 CD and boot it through CD but it wont install giving me some error that some system file from C: drive is corrupted and cannot be read.
This gave me clue of having bad sectors in C: drive, so when I could i did the chkdsk stuff and got it running nice and stable.

I'll report back in a week.
Thank you.

UPDATE: NO LUCK. on 11th it ran superfine whole day, but today on 12th from 7pm i have again started getting those random continous reboots, what to do???????????

hey could this be a HDD issue?
also CPUID hardware monitor is not displaying correct cpu temrature, while 2 other softwares are showing CPU0 core temrature to be around 70-75 constantly.
while this cud be a overheating issue but i dont believe so, i put it near ac and turned it off for 5 hrs and turned it back on it still rebooted ini just around 20 seconds. so i believe overheating is not a problem. i havent oced too.

comes down to be a HDD problem i believe, also my windows 8 keep getting corrupted because of all these random reboots, sometimes it tries to repair itself on the random rebbots, but it obviously cannot because it reboots in b/w the process.

Did you update your BIOS recently? Did you experience any clicking or strange noises coming from the hard drive?

NO and NO to both questions.

How do i know What might be causing the this reboots and then getting my pc into boot loops.

Doing a fresh reinstall of windows makes it run for 12-13 hrs with no problem then again it gets into rebooting and boot loops.
Did a full system scan for viruses found nothing, cannot install old windows 7 says some installation files are missing when expanding files.

Could this possibly be a issue with my windows 8 disc, maybe it installs it with some corrupt files?

I cannot doubt on my hardware since its brand new (only my HDD and case are old) and if it were a hardware problem it should be like either it'll work or it wont.

Could this anyhow be related to my internet service? this is ticking me since my internet and pc both started giving me problem on the same day. My internet broadband is also acting the same way i need to keep rebooting my router to get it working for sometime then it'll automatically kill the connection, on disconnection it gives error invalid ip configuration on the ethernet, i had already contacted my isp for the problem they did some shit, declared my new wifi modem as a failure and forced me to use their given old modem, and its still having disconnections, reporting back again is not of use cuz aftersales in india is pathetic as hell and to it add the company being BSNL (govt. company)
