First time builder needs advise. Sub 1K gaming build with monitor

Im new to this and would like to request comments on my first gaming build. I want to put together a gaming pc under $1000 that includes a display. I have been playing around with pcpartpicker and come up with the following build. Comments are welcomed and probably necessary. Please let me know if there are any glaring omissions/bottlenecks/problems.

Decent build. You don't really need a Z97 board for a locked processor H97 basically doesn't support SLI or overclocking. Aftermarket cooler isn't strictly necessary either. (though the cooler will make it a little quieter)

Power supply is a little over-priced for this build. For about the same price you can get a higher capacity, fully modular supply. Or for about $25 less a perfectly capable bronze rated supply.
