I have an Asus PCE-N53, and I know it works. I downloaded the drivers from the Asus website, and then moved them to a USB stick to my computer where the card is. I installed the drivers, shut down, put in the wireless card, booted up and now it is stuck at the windows logo with no signs of loading. It boots up without the card in, but not with, any help?

Edit: Poking around in the BIOS fixed it, thank you!

Solution

Make sure the pci port you plug it in is enabled in the bios.

Did you set your bios right?

I can't find anything about the PCI ports in the bios, including my viedo card. I've scanned the whole thing.

If this helps, the card worked a couple days ago, and I haven't changed anything except the OS and things on my HDD since then, nothing in the bios.

Found it! My motherboard recognizes it as a 'Network Controller'
