I turned computer and there is a message that says: Hard disk drive failure, strike F1 key to continue, F2 to run the setup utility.WHAT CAN I DO

Solution
Download and run SeaTools for DOS, which is a bootable disk image that you can burn to a CD (you can also create a USB stick if your computer has no optical drive). Get it HERE.

Hopefully, if the drive is dead, (1) you do good data backup, and (2) have a Windows 7 installer disk to use on the new hard drive that you buy as a replacement -- assuming that your computer is out of warranty.

I will try this. I have a backup in Norton and I have the windows 7 recovery disk, but this has windows 7 on it.
