I know there are already a lot of answers about this question, but I am still having trouble understanding my problem. After a little while playing the game my FPS drops dramatically until is is unplayable. Any help would be appreciated.

CPU: FX 6300
GPU: Radeon R9 270 2gb
RAM: G.Skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
Mobo: Asus M5A97R 2.0

I have Catalyst Version 15.5 Beta. AMD says all my drivers are up to date.

I have changed my Catalyst Control 3D Application Setting to this: http://

I used this site to see if I can run it, and these were the results: http://

I know my it says my CPU is a little weak, but I cant play the game for more than 30-45 min.

Every Setting is on Normal. but i havent touched and of the other setting. Vsync? anisotropic filtering? direct x 10, 10.1, 11?

any help would be great becasue i just blew away $60 if this is what will always happen.
Please let me know if you want screenshots of anything to help.

Well I'm at wrk right now so I can't give you exact settings right now. My monitor is 1600:900 75hz max refresh rate. I've played on both full screen and windowed. I know all the settings that are able to be, are set up on normal. I'll let you know what the other settings are in a bit. ( vsync, mxaa, fxaa, anisotropic stuff) these are the settings that confuse me. Please stay close to this thread I'm really struggling here lol.

I changed my setting to look like his with no success. I don't know why at that time my screen was at that resolution, but I changed that to full screen, 60Hz and Ratio set at auto.

I have tried every fix I can find... When I look at my Processes in my Task Manager, GTAV is at the top at around 100,000 K (Not sure if that is a nominal starting point) but as the game goes on it just climbs and climbs and climbs. Maybe it is supposed to do that, I'm not sure. But my point is that maybe its a memory problem?

I'm dying to play this game at more than 30 min intervals. Thank you for trying to help me.

CPU gaming temp is a touch high. But I guess you're using the stock cooler?

And CPU usage is OK.

But GPU gaming temp is way too low. Like its not even working. You measuring this with Afterburner?

What voltage and core and memory clock speeds is it running at?

Yeah I am using Afterburner. And checking again it stay around 47-53C give or take. My GPU usage it at around 47% though.

Core Clock 975MHz
Memory Clock Set to 1400MHz max
Voltage 1.206V

Everything on my GPU is set to Stock settings. Have all updated draivers. my CPU usage is between 70-80% when its runnign well it seems and drops when the frame skips. I have Vsync on. And i have noticed that i can have the settings set pretty high and the game runs completely fine when i first start it up, and then acts the same way it would if i had it on low settings. about the same amount of time into it...
HMMMMMMM lol

That is the one. My PSU : XFX TS550 Full Wired PSU. And right now not running the game my voltages are:

3.3V = 3.288
5V = 4.992
12V = 12.200

Should i check while in game for you?
