I want the perfect gaming headset, BUT I do not care much for online chat. I dont like online gaming, I am looking for a headset where I can play and hear amazing audio through the headset, and not through the tv so I do not bother my roomates. I play both the XBOX 360 and XBOX ONE. Grand theft auto IV and V are both my games of choice. Also SKYRIM and FALLOUT 3 and so on. SO Is there a headset out there for me? i want clear audio where i can hear all the little details and what not. Not watered down for chat. I have money to spend on a good pair, but the more i research the more confused i seem to get.
I dont understand if the turtle beach headsets allow me to do what i want with the sound quiality i am looking for. ANYONE WHO CAN HELP THANK YOU SO MUCH!
I also wouldn't mind getting an actual pair of quality headphones, but how would I channel the sound of my consoles to`the headphones without quality drops and such? Wireless, wired, i dont care i just want to have this.

Markw, sound quality can clearly be higher or lower quality; most people prefer high quality. Take Beats for example, the overemphasized bass is super muddy, and you cannot distinguish what instruments are making what sounds. However, on my audio technica ath m50, I can distinguish all the percussion instruments and I can even hear the faint plucking of a guitar string. For gaming and sound quality, A pair of high quality headphones is much better than a "headset." I recommend the Sennheiser 558 for gaming. It has good sound quality and good positional(think surround) audio for games too. Only get a headset if you really need a mic, even then you can just buy a mic. Generally speaking, good headphones are better than the sound quality...
I am guessing that you do know how to do a search on Google. So search for "Gaming Headset reviews" and read them, and then when you find something that sounds like it might be what you want, go find where it is being sold, and read the reviews from the people that actually bought the item and are using it.

That is the best way to find out what you need to know, and get the info to make an informed decision.

Yeah, thanks... I just figured this would be better than a random google search. I have researched a ton on this, and just couldnt find the answer i was looking for, so thats why i was trying to ask people who have first hand experience with it myself. I can't get a straight answer, i guess what i am looking for just simply hasnt been simplified or made popular yet. Someday though i hope. I'm all about the sound. Not a lot of gamers are i guess

Sound is a perceived sense. What sounds great to me and 100 other people might sound horrible to you. You might want something with a glowing red LED on the tip of the microphone. I hate glowing red LEDs in my face. You might want square on the ear cups. I prefer round over the ear cups.

And I could go on and on. I could tell you what I use, but I bought mine over a year ago, and the company has changed the product twice since then. Is it the same as mine? I have no idea. I have only used mine. Am I happy with mine? Yes I am, but they are no longer on sale, so that does not help you.

There are lots and lots of reviews out there on headsets. When I wanted a set for this new computer last year, I did what I suggested that you do. And when I did not find what I was interested in, I kept digging for more and more reviews. And finally I found a roundup of a bunch of headsets, and one of those stood out to me because the reviewer said that these appeared to be better constructed than the others, and the sound was crisp and clear to him. So I went to some online retailers, and I read hundreds and hundreds of users remarks about the headset. And in the end, I bought them.

You need to do that homework yourself. You know what your preferences are. I don't.
